The amount I spent on my bootcamp to become a good designer.

I didn’t realize that mastering the design craft wasn’t enough on its own.

The ability to sell those skills, to communicate my value was the key difference.

Sure, I had learned how to solve design problems, create prototypes, manage stakeholders, and run testing—you know, the typical design toolkit we all have.

But none of that mattered if I couldn’t articulate it in a way that made hiring managers take notice.

But I had no idea how to articulate this in a way that would show my value and problem solving skills.

I had no idea how to communicate this in a way that hiring managers and recruiters were looking for.

So my goal was to figure this out. And I spent years doing exactly that!

Once I mastered this, everything changed.

This skill was the reason I have received every job offer throughout my career.

Now making over 6 figures yearly as a designer.
Have more flexibility than ever before.
Working on products with millions of users.
Working for brands I have loved for years.

Looking back, I just wish it hadn’t been such a messy, frustrating process to get here 😅
